Aamazon Natural Resources Consulting is a
Michigan limited liability company and a certified woman-owned business
(DBE/WBE) in Michigan, Wisconsin, Indiana and Ohio. We are MDOT
prequalified for botanical/threatened species assessment and wetland
assessment. We are also State-certified for NPDES stormwater soil
erosion control inspections. |

Bobbi Jones Sabine (President/Managing
Member) is a Registered Landscape Architect (RLA) in the State of Michigan,
holds a Master's degree in Landscape Architecture, and is now in her 18th
year of practice in Michigan. She holds a Michigan DNR T&E Collector's
Permit and serves on the Ottawa County Park Commission. She is a past
officer of the Michigan Botanical Club and the Owashtanong Islands Audubon
Society, and is currently President of Counterpart, a local businesswomen's
group.
Lead botanist is William Martinus (botany/ornithology), who has been
called "the best field botanist in Michigan." A retired teacher who
frequently leads field trips, he specializes in Natural Features
Inventories, including Floristic Quality Assessments.
Stephen Ross (entomology, botany) has conducted numerous insect surveys
for the Forest Service, and has authored a comprehensive natural history for
Mecosta County, Michigan, including many species previously unreported for
that county. He's also travelled extensively in South America on
birdwatching expeditions. A contributor to publications like Michigan
Natural History, Steve is a skilled writer both technically and
creatively.
Leon "Chip" Schaddelee (botany) is a retired biology teacher who
specializes in complete species inventories (vascular plants, birds,
herptiles, butterflies), rare plant searches, community mapping, and
evaluating site quality. He's worked as a naturalist and has done extensive
field work for The Nature Conservancy and the Michigan Natural Features
Inventory. His accomplishments include discovery of new species in the state
and rediscovery of many species thought to be extirpated.
William Pierce, RLA, ASLA, provides professional graphics and illustration
services and design. Tonia Patterson (biology/ecology) contributes field
technician services. Office support
includes Linda Jones (word processing) and Vina Ryan (CAD).
